Uses

Vitelice P is a complete foliar fertilizer enriched with magnesium, zinc and Silitek (100% assimilable silicon) which strengthens the plant, promotes nutrient balance, and stimulates photosynthesis and biosynthesis.

Its mode of action :
After spraying, Vitelice P is absorbed into the plant and boosts its physiological properties :

1) Stimulate photosynthesis and biosynthesis :
Magnesium is the essential component of chlorophyll ensuring photosynthesis.
Nutrients, such as phosphorus, potassium and magnesium, are involved in the synthesis of amino acids, which contribute to plant growth, and help to transport both vitamins A and C to other areas of the plant.

2) Improve nutrient balance :
Silicon encourages the plant to be more upright (enabling it to capture more light), corrects nutrient imbalances, and enhances the assimilation of major elements (N,P,K) and secondary elements (Mg,Ca).

3) Reinforce cell walls and plasma membranes :
Silicon is an essential component of the cell wall. When assimilated by the plant, it reinforces the cell wall and promotes healing.

4) Increase resistance to abiotic stress :
The plant is less vulnerable to drought, owing to magnesium and silicon which promote root growth.
Furthermore, silicon, together with other nutrients (P, K) activate the plant’s natural defences against external stimuli (drought, salt, heat, etc.). These are messengers which play a role in the response to stress. Lastly, silicon significantly limits the toxicity of heavy metals, by forming complexes.

The plant is thus stronger, better nourish and more able to withstand abiotic stress.
